2022 Hope Rising Trail Run
Cancellation
Due to a wave of COVID-19 illness and positive results among our volunteers for the run, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Hope Rising Trail Run 2022. We tried to postpone the event to a later date, however the venue was not available.
We hope to arrange a virtual run later this year and hope to be back next year about the same time.
While we know this is disappointing, we hope you can understand the steps we’re taking to help keep our staff and attendees safe.
We are excited that this years Hope Rising Trail Run will once again be returning to the scenic Avon Tyrrell Youth Centre on the 26th February 2022. This is a beautiful venue and the course is demanding and a challenge, but fun to run.

About The Event
The Hope Rising Trail run will once again be held at the scenic Avon Tyrrell Youth Centre on the 26th of February 2022. This will be the ninth running of the winter cross country run at Avon Tyrrell.
This is a beautiful venue and the course is demanding and a challenge, but fun to run. It is a 5km course through typical New Forest terrain, and the event consists of a 5km run(once around) and a 10km run( twice around) There are medals and prizes for most categories and all finishers will receive a medal as a memento. The runners have been very complimentary of the course in
the past years and runners have enjoyed the very scenic route. It can be a very demanding race if run seriously, but truly fun to run if your interest is having a good cross country run in stunning surroundings. Walking and enjoying the scenery is definitely allowed.
The race starts at 11.00am and registration will open at 09.30am for runners to collect their numbers and receipts
and to register their team name and runners.
We would like to encourage you to enter the team category for the fastest men and ladies teams. Please give us a name
for the team and nominate 4 of your team at registration and the fastest three times will be taken. There will be prizes for
the fastest men’s and the fastest ladies team. There is no extra cost for this team entry .
Full catering is available on site from 09.30am.
Please note that the race is limited to 250 runners and we will allocate numbers on a first come basis.
