The Hope Rising dog show was held at Greyfriars Community Centre on the 5th of September 2015. This was the first running of dog show at Greyfriars. There were rosettes up to fourth place and prizes for all who entered the various classes.
The day started sunny and dry and by 10 o’clock the weather was mild and an ideal day for this dog show to be held. The turnout was small, but a few very handsome dogs and owners arrived to participate in the show. The feedback from the owners was positive. They were also very complimentary about the organisation of the dog show. All owners who entered the classes received a packet of dog treats as a memento and all owners in the top four of each class received prizes.

Dog Rescue for hosting tables The team at Greyfriars were extremely helpful and a real pleasure to work with and our thanks to them for the use of their grounds. A big thank you to Avon River Church and the team for their invaluable help, and many burgers, tea, and cakes that was served!
